Khaled Latif, a member of the Council of the Egyptian Football Union, has supported Morocco in hosting the Africa Cup of Nations after the announcement of its withdrawal from Cameroon.
The media confirmed that the African Football Confederation "K" had decided to withdraw from Cameroon the organization of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, with the opening of the nomination to countries wishing to host the tournament.
Latif said in a televised statement: Morocco is an honorable front of Arab football and has all the possibilities and circumstances that will help to organize the tournament.

In the same context, Abdel Ghani explained that African confederations are compatible with the granting of rights of organization to the Moroccan state, especially as it is better able to organize the tournament with its 24 teams after the decision to increase the number of participants in the 2019 version.
He stressed that it was difficult for Egypt to officially request to host the continental championship in the coming period, given the consensus on its allocation to Morocco, and the situation in Egypt and the in place of local matches without public presence make it very difficult the organization of this great tournament.
