Al Ahli beat Petrojet 1-0 in a match that was held Saturday night at Suez Army Stadium, match postponed to the ninth week of the Egyptian Premier League.
Al-Ahmar has regained the memory of its winner, failing since its victory in the first leg of the African Champions League final against Esperance 3-1 on 2 November.

Smile after 99 days:
Ahli's victory over Petrojet is the first of the championship after a 99-day absence since his last win over the Aug. 24 border guards with a 2-0 victory.
The Red team drew 0-0 with Al-Ittihad before winning two defeats against Al Ittihad of Alexandria (4-3) and Arab Contractors (1-0) on Tuesday.
This is Al Ahli's fourth victory in the Egyptian league, in exchange for the loss of two matches and a draw, after postponing a number of matches.

Ahmed Al-Shaikh scored his first goal in the Egyptian Premier League after a long absence of 364 days.
Shaikh's last goal in the league came back to Enppi on 2 December 2017, in the 4-1 win against Al-Ahmar last season.
– Historical hegemony:
Al-Ahli maintained his undisrupted record during the history of his encounters with Petrojet in the Egyptian Premier League.
With 21 matches between Ahli and Petrojet in the league, Al-Ahmar won in 16 games, while the match resulted in five confrontations.
– Back as:
Don Bbadem Ali, back for Al Ahly, made his first appearances this season after his participation as an alternative to Petrojet in the last ten minutes of the match instead of Ahmed Al Shaikh.
It was the first appearance of the 30-year-old since his last participation with Al-Ahly, who was in front of Al-Masri Al-Borseidi on May 20, 195 days.
– First appearance:
Ahmed Alaa, defender of Al Ahly, made his first Red Bull appearance in the Premier League since joining the team last summer.
The 24-year-old took part in the Tarsana Cup match last October and played in the match that ended (3-2).
– Second defeat:
The Petrojet coach, Mo Men Sulaiman, was defeated for the second time against Al Ahly, after 3 matches, in all competitions.
Sulaiman, who managed to win the Egypt Cup against Al-Ahly after winning 3-1, lost to Al-Ahmar the previous season before Al-Ahmar with 4-2.
