Moroccan Health Minister Anas Dalkali said Friday that HIV / AIDS is killing 450 people a year in the country.
The Moroccan Ministry of Health, under the slogan "All for Morocco without AIDS" by 2030, revealed that Morocco "records 990 new cases of infection by 2017".
He noted that the government has estimated that more than 20,000 people are living with HIV.
He noted that the spread of the virus in Morocco is "a slow pace, with an infection rate of 0.10% of the population, while it is at the center of the epidemic among the groups most at risk of infection ".
"Deaths can be directly related to HIV / AIDS or result from an infection badociated with the epidemic," he said.
