Cleaner toilet seats by smart phones by you will not imagine it!
A controversial new study found that toilet seats are cleaner than dirty cell phones.
Initial Toilet Hygiene studied samples on smart phones and found that the phone was 7 times dirtier than toilet seats.
The researchers found that phones protected by a shell containing most bacteria and easy-to-clean plastic shells contain more than six times the germs found on the toilet seat.
Samples from iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy 8 and Google Pixel have been tested for the presence of aerobic bacteria, yeasts and molds. The phone's screens have the highest levels of bacteria, while the pollution is spread on the back of the phone and on the button of the lock and the main button.
Surveys showed the presence of bacteria in about 220 areas around the toilet seat, while the number of contaminated points on the phone was 1479 bacterial points.
Experts warned that mobile phones had become dirty because people were bringing them to the bathroom.
"The germs present on mobile phones can be specific to each person, so the probability of transmission is low," said Professor Hugh Pennington, a professor of microbiology at Aberdeen University.
Earlier this year, disgusting images were released showing smart phones covered with bacteria.
