According to Liverpool, around 366,000 votes were cast and Salah won the award, ahead of Rahim Sterling, Virgil van Dijk, Harry Maguire and Sergio Aguero.
Mohammed Salah is the third Liverpool player to win this award in the last six years.
"Thank you all for this award, it matters a lot to me because it is awarded on the basis of a public vote," said Mohamed Salah after winning the award.
"In general, I award any prize to my colleagues and all Liverpool staff, but this time, I would also like to thank them for their outstanding support."
