Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is waiting for an offer from Real Madrid President Florentino Perez to resume Meringhi's training.
Mourinho thinks Perez will be saved from Manchester United's "hell," said Portuguese newspaper Mundo Deportivo, who recently suffered at Old Trafford because of the steady decline in the team's performance.
Although Real Madrid has signed Santiago Solari for two and a half years, the completion of the Argentine coach is uncertain, which will allow Mourinho to return to the Meringhi.
Mourinho is confident in Real's decision to recover his services and save him from Manchester United's nightmare, even though the Spanish club has signed a contract with Solari.
Mourinho was ready to abide by his contract until the end of the season, the rest of the season, next year, but the disastrous market of team transfers last summer has been the reason for the departure of the coach.
Mourinho took over from Real Madrid between May 2010 and June 2013 and won the title of Spain Champion of the 2011/2012 season.
Mourinho was in crisis with most of the team's players, especially with Frenchman Paul Bojba, most recently after the match against Southampton. The coach called the player a "virus", which heightened speculation about his desire to leave.
