Juventus beat Juventus 14-1 in 15 Serie A matches with a header from striker Mario Manzukic in the second half with a 1-0 victory over Inter at the top of Italy. Visitors missed several opportunities on Friday.

The Croatian striker scored his seventh goal of the season in the 66th minute, after Juventus was penalized in the first half by pressure from visitors. Roberto Gallerini replied with a shot.

The win brought the host team's lead to 43 points to 45 points, 11 points behind second-placed Napoli, who will host Frosinone on Saturday, while Juventus aim for their eighth consecutive title.

Inter is third but 14 points behind the Turin club.
Inter, who has not beaten Juventus at home for six years, had two good chances in the first period.

Matteo Bolitano and Mauro Icardi shared the ball pretty well to give Gallardini a good shot in front of the goal, but shot the ball to the post.

Juventus put the visitors on the crossbar, with defender Giorgio Cielini giving the goalkeeper a header.

After a foul from Juventus midfielder Blaise Matudi, Bolitano pbaded the ball to Icardi, who pushed him back to allow Juve's defense to return.

Inter took advantage of the missed opportunity in the middle of the second half when Matudi pbaded the ball to Joao Cansello on the left and the Portuguese sent a deep pbad to the second post that Manzukic has escape to escape Kuadu Asamoah.

Inter pressed Juventus to equalize at the last minute and substitute Lautaro Martins sent a shot right after a fake distraction from Cansello, but the ball did not live in goal to end the match.

Win the owners of the land.
