The Qatar Football Federation (QF) officially announced Saturday that Saud Al-Mohannadi, vice president of the Qatari Confederation and Asian Confederation, will run in the upcoming AFC elections.

Al-Mohannadi faces Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa of Bahrain, the current president of the federation, and Mohammed Khalfan Matar Saeed Al-Rumaithi of the United Arab Emirates.
