Sevilla scored with a goal from Pablo Sarabia in the 55th minute and Valencia equalized with a goal from Mokhtar Diakhabi in the second minute of the time off.
Sevilla scored 28 points in second place behind Barcelona leader Espanyol in front of Atletico Madrid.
The draw is Sevilla's fourth league game this season, with eight losses and a three-point loss.
