Uruguayan midfielder Sebastien Abreu continued his professional career after signing Wednesday a new contract with Brazilian Rio Branco, who plays in the fourth division and will be his No. 28 team of his career for more than 24 years.
El Loco, 42, entered the Guinness Book of Records as the player with the highest number of teams in his professional career, surpbading the German number Lutz vanenstelle (25 clubs).
The former international player played 70 games for his country and went through his international career to reach twice the World Cup and win the Copa America in 2011.
Abreu started his career in 1994 at Defensor Sporting in Uruguay, then in clubs in Argentina, Spain, Mexico, Greece, Ecuador, Paraguay, Chile and Brazil.
