Mourinho ignores Liverpool defeat and bets fourth place in English Premier League

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that his team will finish fourth in the Premier League after losing 3-0 to Liverpool.

Manchester United lost three goals against Liverpool in the 17th round of the Premier League at Anfield.

"I think the difficult period was during the first 20 minutes, we could not cope with Liverpool pressure, we suffered a lot to get the ball," said Mourinho in TV commentary.

"When we got the second and third goals, it was supposed to be in our favor, but the defenders threw the ball here and there and we lost control."

"We can always finish in fourth place, it is not easy, we will certainly finish in the top six, the best we can reach is the fourth, our goal is now fifth and fourth."

Liverpool advanced in the 24th minute of the match through Manny, before Lengard equalized in the 33rd minute. Shakiri scored the second and third goals in the 73rd, 80th minute.

"If you talk about the first 20 minutes and I said I would lose two goals, I would have accepted it, but after going through that step, it was no longer acceptable."
