US scientists have been able to develop a new permanent tattoo that can alert women when they are at risk of being damaged by sun exposure.
According to Fuchia, Dr. Carson Burns and his research team at the University of Colorado and US lab have developed a new type of ultraviolet-sensitive tattoo ink that only appears when the skin is overexposed to the sun .
New tattoo developers continue to work on making additional forms of tattoo ink, which will serve as a diagnostic tool to help doctors identify diseases or risk altering blood composition. .
The new "smart" tattoos can detect the sun's rays and then alert women when the sunscreen is restored. It only appears when the woman is about to burn and disappears with sunscreen. Very dramatic.
