The Dubai municipality handed over Monday the new Al Maktoum stadium to the Al Nasr club for the organization of several matches of the 2019 Asian Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
The new stadium, completely rebuilt for 15,000 spectators, cost more than 200 million dirhams.
According to the engineer Daoud Al Hajri, general manager of the Dubai Municipality, the construction of the new stadium took a full year.
The new stadium will host 6 matches of the 2019 Asian Cup, which will begin in January.
