Scientists from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, United States, found that installing the new device allowed losing up to 40% of the weight.

According to "MedicalXpress", the device is known to be harmless and releases electrical impulses, similar to those produced by the stomach, to the badl nerve that connects the stomach to the brain.

As a result, the brain receives information that the stomach is full after a few pieces of food ingested.

One of the inventors of the device, Seudong Wang, says that these legumes enhance natural processes, which helps control the amount of food eaten by the individual.

Scientists have patented the new device, plan to test it on large animals, and then perform tests on humans.

Similar devices exist to stimulate the vagus nerve, but they must be loaded constantly and the new device "feeds" on the walls of the stomach.

Scientists have already discovered that rice is an effective way to lose excess weight and that, according to them, black rice contributes particularly to the elimination of fat.
