A team of researchers in France has discovered the properties of immune cells, which are targeted by HIV / AIDS in the human body, paving the way for a medical advance leading to the treatment of the disease.

The AIDS virus targets lymphocytes, responsible for immunity in the human body, making it vulnerable to death by any other less dangerous virus involving individuals.
"Antiretrovirals, which are currently used to stop viruses and act against them to reduce their spread," said Asir Sayes Sirion, director of research. "Through research, we have identified infected cells to target them and rid the infected body of HIV."
