Amer Hussein: The face of Ismaili and Zamalek is nearing the postponement

Amer Hussein, chairman of the competition committee of the Egyptian Football Federation, explained the reason for the possibility of postponing the face of Ismaili and Zamalek.

Information has been reported in recent hours about the possibility of postponing some matches of the Egyptian Premier League in the coming days.

"The confrontation between Zamalek and Ismaili, scheduled for January 1, is threatened with a postponement," said Amer Hussein in a televised address.

He added: "The postponement will come because of the New Year celebrations, a decision by the security authorities that will try to reach a satisfactory agreement for the parties and set a date for the match."

Delays are expected in the coming hours due to the January holidays, when security has asked to postpone these matches.

The final security decision will be sent Tuesday to set up a confrontation between Ismaili and Zamalek, especially as it will be held in Ismailia.
