Milan – Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala apologized to Napoli defender Caldio Coulibaly yesterday after racist cheering by some supporters during the Inter Milan clash at San Siro on Sunday.
Napoli said on his website: Coulibaly was subjected to "racist cheers" during the match. Without giving more details, Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Naples: Some supporters have imitated the sound of the animals throughout the match.
"These cries and expressions of irony against Coulibaly were a shame for a respected athlete," Sala wrote.
