Egyptian star Mohamed Salah commented on the humiliating racist incident against Senegalese star Calido Coulibaly in Italy on Wednesday night.

Coulibaly was humiliated during the Serie A match against Inter Milan in the 81st minute, after being sent off for a match against Matteo Bolitano.

Napoli said on his website that Coulibaly had been subjected to "racist cheers" during the match without giving details, while coach Carlo Ancelotti had stated that some fans imitated the sound of animals throughout the match .

"There is no place for racism in football, anywhere else," said Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah in an interview with Coulibaly in Liverpool and Napoli in the Champions League. .

"I am disappointed with the defeat and especially my colleagues have left the stadium, but I am proud of the color of my skin, proud to be French, Senegalese and playing in Naples," said Coulibaly on his Twitter account.

The match between Naples and Inter Milan, which took place on the ground of the latter, ended in a zero – 1.
