The first European Debate Championship in Arabic organized by the Qatar Debates Center, a member of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, will begin Thursday in Vienna, Austria.
The competition will take place on Saturday with the participation of 20 universities representing 15 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Kosovo, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine and the Czech Republic. "
The Qatar Debates Center seeks to spread the culture of dialogue in Arabic among other speakers and to motivate students to take an interest in the language of civilized dialogue and raise the level of scientific and linguistic debate.
The first day will be dedicated to the organization of training workshops for students and referees by the trainers and ambbadadors of the Center, in order to become familiar with the most important criteria to be respected during meetings between the participants. teams.
The jury will be composed of 12 referees, including the center's ambbadadors and some members of the elite academy.
