AL- A 37-year-old woman died Sunday at Prince Hussein Hospital of Ain al-Basha district in Balqa after contracting seasonal flu, also known as H1N1.

Dr. Sultan Al-Qasrawi, head of the Department of Communicable Diseases at the Ministry of Health, told Al-Ghad that the woman had been admitted to the hospital about a week ago and that she was under intensive supervision.

He stressed that the treatment of influenza (H1N1) is available in all hospitals of the Ministry of Health, in addition to the possibility of providing private hospitals, provided that it is provided free of charge to the wounded.

Dr. Al-Qasrawi added that the symptoms of H1N1 flu vary from one person to another because of the strength of the patient's immune system.

He added that "no seasonal flu deaths have been recorded since the beginning of the winter, highlighting the need to attract the attention of citizens and not to mingle." to people with the flu and take all necessary precautions to prevent infection or transmission.
