DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Jordan kicked off its Asian Cup campaign Sunday with a 1-0 win over Australia in the Group B match at Hazaa Bin Zayed Stadium in the UAE United.
The only goal of the match was scored by Anas Bani Yasin in the 26th minute with a header. Jordan goalkeeper Amer Shafi has played in front of many opportunities for the Australian team.
