Real Madrid have announced the signing of the Spanish striker Ibrahim Diaz of Manchester City with a contract of six and a half years.
The announcement came after Diaz's 2-0 defeat by Real Sociedad en Liga in less than an hour.
Real did not specify the value of the deal, but the British media announced it had disbursed about $ 19 million.
Diaz will undergo a medical exam on Monday before being officially presented at the Santiago Bernabeu Royal Stadium.

Diaz spent 50 minutes with City in Premiership last season but did not play for the Celtic team this season.
He has only participated in the FA Cup three times in the Premier League this season and scored two goals in a 2-0 win over Fulham in November.
Diaz has become the latest deal of Real Madrid's new approach by including young Spanish players over the past four years.
