Saudi Arabia kicks off Asian Cup with a 4-0 win over North Korea

DUBAI (Reuters) – Saudi Arabia kicked off its 2019 Asian Cup by winning 4-0 over North Korea in a Group D match in Dubai on Tuesday.

Hattan Bahbury opened the scoring for the Saudi team, three-time champion of Asia, in the 28th minute with a nice shot in the far corner and doubled defender Mohamed Al-Fattil in the 36th minute.

Al-Dosari scored 3-0 in the 70th minute with a shot from inside the area that made up for the far corner of the goal of North Korea's 10 goals 44 minutes after the goal. Expulsion of attacker Han Kwang Sung.

Fahad Al Muallad ended the Saudi quartet three minutes before the end, placing the ball in the goal with the left foot after replacing substitute Hamdan Al-Shamrani.

Saudi Arabia will face Lebanon in its second Group Five game, which also includes Qatar, next Saturday at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai.
