Qatar scored two goals in the second half to beat Lebanon 2-0 at the start of the Asian Cup march on Wednesday.
After the first period with a draw and a goal in Lebanon, Qatar scored the first goal after a free kick by Bbadam Al Rawi in the 65th minute.
Al-Muaz Ali added the second goal after a rebound by Mahdi Khalil in the 79th minute.

Muziz Ali's goal added the second goal to Al-Annabi with a quick rebound from Qatar.

Qatar has three points in Group E and shares the lead with Saudi Arabia, which crushed North Korea 4-0 on Tuesday.
Qatar coach Felix Sanchez ruled Abdul Karim Hbadan, the 2018 Asian player, from the starting line before joining him after an hour of draw.
Qatar will face North Korea on Sunday, while Saudi Arabia will meet Lebanon for the first time since 2000.
