Saudi Arabia is looking to win its second consecutive victory when it faces Lebanon at 18:00 at the Al Maktoum stadium in the second round of Group Five, which also includes Qatar and North Korea, in the Asian Cup at United Arab Emirates.
Saudi Arabia must win the match today in order to qualify for the last 16 in the Asian Cup, which finish in early February.
Saudi Arabia leads Group 5 with 3 points, ahead of Qatar, while Lebanon is third with no points.
Saudi Arabia beat North Korea 4-0 in the first round, while Lebanon went down 2-0 against Qatar.
Today's match is the first match between Saudi Arabia and Lebanon at the Asian Cup. Previously, the two teams had already faced each other nine times to different occasions: Saudi Arabia had won four matches, one defeat two games and three draws.
Ybader Al Shahrani's chances of joining the Saudi team increased in the match after a slight injury during his participation against North Korea.
