How can hackers steal accounts

Instagram has recently changed its verification policy. You can now request a verification of the application (to do this, go to Settings -> Request verification) and get the badge if your account fulfills the necessary criteria.

This change was recently implemented to some extent – August 28, 2018 – and many users did not know exactly how to get the blue mark of importance. Of course, fraudsters have taken advantage of this by creating hidden sites in the Instagram Help Center pages and asking Instagram users for information such as user names, email addresses, the full name and date of birth, all in exchange for the promise of a badge.

By entering this data, the user who does not doubt must wait 24 hours for the decision to be made and change the settings of his account during this period. Then, the information is pbaded directly to the attackers, while the users wait without knowing that their accounts are pirated at the moment.
