A new study has revealed that falling in love causes genetic changes in a woman's body. The badociation between physical sensations and the gram, such as palpitations and obsessions, has led scientists to question the possibility of fundamental changes in physiology. The Sunday Times reported.
In an effort to describe the effect of romantic love on the function of the human genome, researchers at the University of California at Los Angeles took blood samples over two years out of 47 young women when they had new relationships.
The team monitored genetic changes in people who fell in love and discovered that it affected not only women psychologically but also physically.
"Falling in love is one of the most psychologically effective experiences in human life," said one scientist from the study.
The study also revealed that falling in love causes the genes to produce antiviral and fungal infections to interferon.
The physiological changes badociated with romantic love can be weakened when the relationship develops or deteriorates or ends.
