A source from the Football Federation said that a request had been made to the African Football Confederation (CAF) to present the 2019 Nations Africa Cup.
Egypt won the tournament's organizing rights after a competition with South Africa after the withdrawal of the Cameroon organization.
The source told Yalla Koura's journalist that the football federation had asked for the opening of the match for 24 hours on Friday 14 June instead of Saturday 15.
The football federation attributed the request to Friday as the official holiday of the country, which gives a public boost to the opening of the tournament.
It is worth mentioning that the Football Federation has previously announced the installation of Mohammed Fadl Najm Al Ahli, former director of the championship organizing committee.
