When Jokovic defeated "angry" Shapovalov!

Novak Djokovic, seeded, regained his composure after stumbling into Group C to suppress the rise of Canadian teen Denis Shapovalov, beating him 6-3, 6-4, 4-6, 6-0 to reach the fourth round of the Australian Open Saturday.

The Serb, who owns 14 titles in all four major leagues, took early control after breaking the three-game lead of his 19-year-old in the first two sets.

The 31-year-old was not in a good mood for Group C after refusing his request to turn off the lights. Angry, he was deported twice and was lost.

But the Serb turned his anger to a strong enthusiasm and broke Shabovalov early in Group D and decided to win without losing a point, to pursue the dream of achieving his seventh title at Melbourne Park, an unprecedented feat for a player.

Wimbledon and US Open champion Daniel Medvedev, the 19th seeded Russian, won the best of four Grand Prix titles by defeating Belgian David Goffan 6-2, 7-6 (3), 6- 3 earlier.
