Dengue cases have increased in Singapore over the past year, with 455 people infected in the first two weeks of January.

Last year, dengue fever doubled, caused by mosquitoes.

According to the Straits Times official newspaper, dengue fever has risen to 3,325, an increase of 20% over 2017. Rising temperatures and rainfall are the cause of the proliferation of mosquitoes.
