A new update of the WhatsApp application includes a shortcut that allows users to better manage the media on the application.
The British newspaper The Independent said Thursday, January 24, 2019 that the function "Show in chat" allows users to quickly know the sender of a photo or video.
This feature, announced by Wattabab, allows users to know exactly which conversation group or conversation was sent to their device and when.
This property, unveiled for the first time by the WeBtaInfo website, is already available on iOS and will be available later on a copy of the application running on the Android operating system.
The Watsab application announces further improvements
Other recent updates to Wattab's popular email application, used by 1.5 billion users worldwide, include an improved set of stickers and an integrated fingerprint security feature.
Users of the application will be able to access this new feature by opening the list of options in the image and pressing "Show in discussion". The site stated: "When you tap the Show in Thread option, the app opens and the conversation where you sent the image to where it appears.
In this menu, you can also select "Set as" to customize and use the image for a specific purpose, and "Rotate" to rotate the image. Previously, all the options available under Set As appear in the first list, but Rotation is now a new selection, because the old version had the options Rotate Left and Rotate Right.
A spokesman for the Watsab application company told The Independent newspaper that the company did not comment on the pilot tests.
