The Manchester United coach admits … It's what he proposed to his players before meeting Arsenal

Manchester United's interim coach, Uli Gunnar Solshire, announced that he had offered his players before the FA Cup clash against Arsenal in the Red Devils' goal against the Londoners.

United managed to beat Arsenal 3-1 and remove it from the Cup. Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring for his former team and Jesse Lingard added the second goal two minutes from the first half, before that Pierre-Emrik Obamyang does not reduce his lead.

Arsenal was injured by Socrates Papastathopoulos and Laurent Kuselini, despite pressure from the team to equalize. United, however, maintains the pressure and is content with the eighth consecutive win for Solshire when Anthony Marciel put the ball in the net after a counterattack in the 82nd minute.

After the meeting, Solshire acknowledged that the counterattacks were a vital part of his team's plan against the men of Spanish coach Onai Emery.

He revealed that before the game against Arsenal, the players had watched videos of the goals against Arsenal, including the stunning goal of former Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo in the Champions League in 2009.

"It's great to continue with the cup, it's one of the most successful matches," Solshire said.

"We have worked hard in defense and the game has been a clbadic style for Manchester United since Wayne Rooney, Ji Sung Park and Cristiano Ronaldo, and we have scored many goals on Arsenal this way.

The Norwegian coach, who has left behind Jose Mourinho, has achieved impressive results with the Red Devils, leading the team to eight games out of eight.
