Juventus coach Mbadimiliano Alegre said Uruguayan defender Martin Caceres would spend a third time with the leaders of Serie A, while Moroccan defender Mehdi Benatia would leave the team.
Juventus, who has not lost in the league this season and has nine points ahead of their closest rivals, is on its way to its eighth consecutive title, said on its website that Lazio's current player, Caceres, had undergone a medical examination.
"Caceres did not come as a temporary replacement," Alegre told reporters Saturday. We really wanted to include it. "
"We have evaluated the options that can be combined and we are lucky that Martin has accepted the offer.

"He is a very good advocate and he is adding a position in a very strong field that we already have, and the fact that I know him personally before is a decisive factor."
Caceres played against Juventus in the 2009-2010 season and returned to the team in early 2012 to continue until June 2016.
He spent the second half of the 2016-2017 season with Southampton, played one game and spent last season with Verona, who then landed and played eight games for Lazio since joining the club before the season.

Moroccan defender Benatia has had his third season with Juventus since he left Bayern Munich and complained about not playing regularly. Italian media announced that he was going to a Qatar club.
"In the expectation of the departure request, that is what the club did not wish, but the desire was satisfied and it is not logical to act contrary to his desire. "
Juventus will host Lazio in the league on Sunday.
"This is an important match for us because we want to maintain consistency in the results and we will need good performance from all sides," said Alegre.
