Announcement of the organization of the football cup 2019 Mexico sponsored by projects and legacies

The Embbady of Qatar in Mexico City announced today the organization of a football tournament under the name "Qatar / Mexico 2019 Football Cup" under the auspices of the Higher Committee for Projects and heritage.

HE Mohammed bin Jbadem Al-Kuwari, Qatar's ambbadador to Mexico, said at a press conference that the tournament aimed to strengthen the friendship between Qatar and Mexico through sport, to which Qatar attaches great importance as a means of bringing together cultures and peoples.

He added that the tournament (Qatar Football Cup / Mexico 2019) was part of the sports activities organized by the Qatari Embbady in preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

The State of Qatar's ambbadador to Mexico, who will participate in the tournament, will bring together 10 teams representing the Embbady of Qatar and various ministries, institutions and universities of Mexico. The championship will start the championship on February 2nd and will end on the 12th of the same day, parallel to the State Sports Day at the "Azteca" Stadium in Mexico City.

During the conference, which was attended by political and artistic figures from Mexico, the presentation of stadium models that will host the 2022 World Cup, which has dazzled the distinctive design of the public.
