Denmark goes into history with the first title of the world handball championship

Denmark has won its first title of world champion of handball three times.

Denmark took the lead on Sunday with its victory over Norway in the 31-22 final in a competition held jointly with Germany.

Denmark beat the World Handball Championship final after finishing second in 1967, 2011 and 2013, while Norway failed to win their first title also in the defeat in the second final at Tawala.

Denmark left Norway with no chance at the start of the match, which ended the match after winning seven goals 18-11.

Although the second period was tighter (13-11) for Denmark, the big break of the first period allowed Hansen, the player of Paris Saint Germain (top scorer of Denmark with seven goals), to settle the match by nine goals against 31-22.

Denmark won their first round victory against Norway 30-26, thus confirming his title right, notably that he has not lost in any tournament matches.

France, who won third place in the competition, beat Germany 26-25.
