PARIS (AFP) – Nantes drew 1-1 at home against St Etienne on Wednesday in the second round of the French championship.
Saint-Etienne was the first to register via Remy Kabila in the 58th minute and Ghana's Majid Wares equalized in the 70th minute.
They play with 10 men since the 48th minute after Nantes defender Fabio da Silva and midfielder Sant Etienne Mavilla were sent off.
Saint-Etienne strengthened its position in fourth place with 37 points out of 24 points for Nantes XIV.
