Italy Cup Lazio beats Inter and meets Milan in semi-final

Lazio joined the semi-finalists of the Italy Cup by winning the penalty shoot-out after the end of the match with one goal for each team in the last quarter-final.

Lazio have already won both Milan, which beat Napoli, Fiorentina and Atlanta, who respectively beat Roma and Juventus.

The two teams did not really threaten the goal until 31 minutes into the game, when Chiro Emubili started shooting from inside, but goalkeeper Handanovic was on the lookout.

One minute before the break, Roberto Galliardini, the Italian midfielder, received a yellow card, the first period having ended on a draw and blank.

The first appearance of the Inter offensive by Antonio Kandriva from inside the surface has exceeded the first 63 minutes.

Brazilian striker Wallace was injured in the 70th minute to leave Lazio and Bastos replaces him in defense of the Eagles.

In the 77th minute, Matthias Vicino, at the head of Uruguay, did better than Strakosha's goalkeeper.

Handanovic took on Ecuadorian Felipe Caicedo in the 89th minute. In the fourth minute, he was able to replace Matteo Bolitano by a fatal goal, but Strakosha was on the lookout.

Both teams made additional runs, which saw the Inter penalty, but were canceled after a return to technology within 98 minutes.

Three minutes into the second period, Italian Chiro Emubili scored Lazio's first goal after a double pbad with Kaiseido that ended on a shot by the opposing goalkeeper.

In the third minute, the referee inflicted a penalty on Inter with a foul from Milenkovic Savic in Ekardi's place.

Defender Stefan Radu was sent off for a second warning after the decision was contested, and both teams went to a penalty shoot-out to resolve the competitor's identity.

On penalties, the Eagles beat Nyinga 4-3 after Nyanjulan lost the shot and Lucas Liva scored for the qualification.

To secure the Eagles in Milan at a repeat meeting for the second consecutive season, Milan's last season qualified at the expense of Lazio on penalties.

The first leg of the semi-finals will be held on February 27th and the return will take place on April 24th.
