Lazio joined the semi-finalists of the Italy Cup by winning the penalty shoot-out after the end of the match with one goal for each team in the last quarter-final.

Lazio have already won both Milan, which beat Napoli, Fiorentina and Atlanta, who respectively beat Roma and Juventus.
