MADRID (Reuters) – Barcelona has received good news regarding Argentina's Lionel Messi, the club's icon, ahead of Clasico's clashes with Real Madrid on Wednesday.
Messi was injured in the Barça-Valencia match on Saturday night in Allega, a 2-2 draw at Camp Nou.
The Spanish radio station Catalonia reported that Messi's participation in the Alcásico was questioned because of his discomfort.
But sources inside the Catalan club have confirmed that Messi was suffering from nothing dangerous and that he would attend the concert in Barcelona on Sunday and return to both Monday.
Rak-Wan said Messi would not submit to a medical exam Sunday and then resume training in a natural way with the rest of his teammates.
In turn, the Spanish media Alfredo Martinez said that expectations indicate the possibility of Messi's participation in Clasico without any problem.
