The Spanish model Georgina Rodríguez of Argentina has caused a new scandal for a Portuguese player who has suffered much in the past, accusations of tax evasion and rape.
The "Daily Mail" newspaper reports that George Eduardo Rodriguez's father, Gordina's father, died in his prison in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires after being arrested for drug trafficking several years ago.
The father of the famous model waged a long battle against the disease in prison and ended his death last Friday, which caused the surprise visit of Georgina in Argentina in recent hours.
"For the coincidence of life, I'm going to land in the country where I was born that day, 25 years ago," she wrote.
The Spanish government expelled Georgina's father in 2013 for drug trafficking, where he spent 10 years in prison from 2003 to 2013.
