LONDON (Reuters) – Liverpool defender Joe Gomez will undergo surgery Thursday after breaking his leg in a game against Burnley last month, the Premier League leader announced on Monday. .
Gomez, 21, was initially absent for six weeks, but the Liverpool medical team revealed that a surgical operation would allow the player to recover more easily.
