Ayman Mansour, the former Zamalek actor, said he was surprised at the departure of his son Ahmed, from the back of Acer Pyramids, and his twin for Zamalek, without a clear motive.
Bayramis won the first round of the Premier League on Sunday with a 2-0 draw at the Abu Dhabi Police Academy Stadium.
"I was saddened by the departure of Ahmed and his twin from Zamalek before.I was surprised by their departure for no obvious reason," said Ayman Mansour in an interview for Al-Estad.
"Ahmed has been exposed to Zamalek more than once when he was a player in Egypt and the second time is currently in pyramid.
"They had already talked to him about Al Ahli, but I told him that Zamalek had priority," he said.
He jokingly concluded, "If it was a game for Ahly, I should go home," he said. "I'm really kidding." Ahmed is free in his decisions. I do not interfere with the decisions of my children.
