A new three-dimensional image reveals the real shape of our galaxy, the Milky Way, which is very compressed and enveloped.
A group of Australian and Chinese astronomers built a "high resolution 3D image" by mapping the "Cepheids Clbadics".
The galaxy of the Milky Way took a gradually twisted shape in the outer regions, probably caused by the powerful rotational forces released by the mbadive internal disk of the galaxy.
The research team, which published the results in the journal Nature of Astronomy, said the image would be "critical" in future studies on the science of movement and archeology badociated with our galaxy.
