Having breakfast can help lose hips

A review of a group of studies has shown that the common idea that not taking breakfast contributes to weight gain does not mean that eating the morning meal can help lose weight.
The researchers examined data from 13 studies including clinical trials conducted over a 30-year period. Some participants had lunch, others did not. The review found that those who ate breakfast gained more calories and weight than those who did not eat.
The results may be surprising for those who diet, because those who eat breakfast earn 260 more calories per day than those who avoid the meal and who grow 0.44 kg on average.
"Breakfast is thought to be the most important meal of the day, but that's not the case," said Flavia Sikotini, senior researcher at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
"Calories are calories, no matter what time they eat, and people should not eat if they are not hungry," she said in an email.
The researchers wrote in the British Medical Journal that some previous studies had verified whether breakfast had an impact on the metabolism or on the number of calories burned by the body. But the researchers found no significant difference as to whether to have lunch or not.
