BERLIN (Reuters) – Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich said on Thursday it has reached an agreement with Hamburg to include Jan-Vette Arb on his decision to join the club at the end of the season or next.
He is considered one of the most outstanding talents in Germany and graduated from the Hamburg Academy.
"Veth Erb, a young person on a contract with Hamburg, will move to Bayern Munich by 1 July 2020 at the latest," Bayern said in a statement.
"The 19-year-old striker can move in the summer of 2019 or join Bayern in the 2020-2021 season," said Arb Ho, who will decide when he will leave Hamburg.
Bayern are third in the league seven points behind leader Borussia Dortmund and will face Liverpool in the last 16 games of the Champions League later this month.
Erb is second in Hamburg this season after falling for the first time in his history.
