Dr. Ali Taha, head of the renal dialysis unit at Sohag University Hospital, as well as a group of renal disease faculty from Ain Shams University of Mansoura, Tanta, Minya and Assiut participated in the activities of the sixth scientific day of the renal unit of the Department of Internal Medicine of the University of Assiut, entitled "Treatment of chronic renal diseases", in cooperation with the University of Assiut. Dr. Taha explained that there was a close relationship between blood lipids and kidney disease: kidney patients were more susceptible to heart disease, arteriosclerosis and stroke than people in good health, highlighting the need to use lipid-lowering drugs to prevent these diseases, according to the doctor's instructions.

He added d. Ali Taha, this high rate of fat in the blood causes kidney failure, so it is essential to treat fats in the blood, to prevent kidney disease and avoid high-fat foods, such as Hydrogenated oils and meat rich in fat.
