Chrome will add support for next-generation music control buttons, where you can control videos or songs on web pages.
With version 73, you can use keyboard commands such as play, pause, pause, next, previous, increase, cut and mute. The feature will work when Chrome is in the background and will work on all tabs together. In the sense that if you open multiple tabs and each contains a video or sound, the compression of any music control button will be applied at one time.
Previously, users used different apps and extensions to take advantage of this feature, but Google will now officially provide them in the browser. Version 73 should be available next month on all operating systems.
