Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp spoke of the injury sustained by young Ybader Laroussi in the clashes in Seville today.
The Andalusians won 2-1 in a friendly match in preparation for the new season.
Laroussi took the lead in the 46th minute but was forced to leave in the 80th minute after suffering a violent injury from Sevilla defender Joris Jannon. The latter received a red card.
"It is too early to make headlines by saying what I think," he said in remarks published by the Liverpool Echo network. "It seems that Ybader was lucky, but we have to wait a bit."
"He could not play but in the locker room he looked good."
"Yasir was hit hard, I did not know the situation 100%, but I spoke quickly with the doctor and he told me."
