1715 Egyptian pilgrims hosted in medical clinics in Mecca and Medina

The consultant of the Minister of Health and Population for the affairs of the information and official spokesman of the Ministry said that the clinics of the Egyptian Medical Mission for Hajj had received until Wednesday 1715 cases of disease, where they had been detected and treated, including 774 in Mecca and 941 in Medina. Noting that 8 cases had entered Saudi hospitals, two remaining after their healing and that there are still six cases to be treated, noting that Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, was mission work to ensure the best medical service to Egyptian pilgrims.

Dr. Mohammed Dahi, head of the Hajj medical mission, said kidney dialysis was practiced in two hospitals in Saudi Arabia and that another case had received chemotherapy, indicating that the medical team was providing the coordination with Saudi hospitals before dialysis sessions and chemotherapy to ensure Egyptian pilgrims On maximum medical service, and the medical team of the medical mission to spend daily on all hospitals that were arrested pilgrims to check them and follow their health.

He stressed that the prevention team continues to organize seminars to inform pilgrims about preventive measures, distribute leaflets and leaflets to identify infectious and non-communicable diseases and how to prevent them.
