Egyptian artist Farouk al-Fishawi died Thursday morning after a brief battle with cancer.
Farouq al-Feshawi was born on February 5, 1952 in the governorate of Menoufia, Egypt, of a rich family of two parents and five brothers. His father died at the age of eleven. His older brother, Rashad.
