Saad Mohsen Khalil, secretary of the Union of Iraqi Journalists, said the establishment of these courses is necessary to bring Arab journalists together to discuss and exchange views on the issues facing the Arab countries. and to try to identify the views and proposals to resolve and overcome them, an effective way to identify the views of Arab journalists. The courses constitute an effective contribution of the Union to the exercise of its professional work aimed at developing the capacity of Arab journalists to reach advanced stages corresponding to the developed countries in this field. These courses are based on the responsibility of the Federation in its various committees to exercise their respective functions in the field of its competence, all of which ultimately contribute to the contribution of the Union of Arab Journalists to the achievement of the the role badigned to it, in particular the fact that the Union has evolved recently and that the work of the committees has been organized in such a way as to follow the progress of the work of the committees. The establishment of such formations will inevitably lead to the Union playing its role among the organizations of the various disciplines and disciplines of the world and to follow the movement of scientific development in these fields in order to train generations of media more aware and sensitized.
